Our JumpStart Subsidy support program helps young Tasmanias aged 18–24 who are working and ready for independent living but just need a little bit extra to help them into a house.
If eligible, we could assist with up to $50 per week to help you afford to rent a suitable house in southern Tasmania.
Eligibility & Commitment.
You need to be aged between 18 & 24 years of age.
You need to be earning a wage that can contribute to your rent.
You can already be in your own place or looking for somewhere to rent.

To be eligible, you must be:
- Aged 18-24 years old; and
- Earning a wage and able to contribute to rent.
